Introducing the Audio Player

Our audio player is very simple to use and does not require any media plugins, so it should work with most any modern web browser. Here a sample you can play with:

Audio Test:

It look's like you don't have Adobe Flash Player installed. Get it now.

Just click the play arrow to start, then adjust the volume with the bars on the left. When playing, click the double bar icon to pause -- the player folds up, but when you click the play arrow again it will resume where it left off. You can also go back in the audio by dragging the progress bar to the left. Try it!

If the audio player does not appear above, you probably need to download and install the Adobe Flash Player. You can get it here.

Q: I'm computer-challenged! How do I copy and paste?
A: In most any text editor you can simply select your text (click and drag from beginning to end), then click Copy in your menu bar to copy it. If you don't have a Copy button, or just can't find it, use the CTRL-C key combination (Command-C on the Mac) to copy your selected text. Then just right-click (CTRL-click on the Mac) in the Assignment text box and choose Paste from the pop-up menu.

Here's a sample text area for you to practice with (text does not save):

Q: The text box doesn't look big enough -- how can I fit all my text in there?
A: Don't worry, the text box in the lessons will contain several pages of text. If you enter more than what is visible in the box, a scroll bar appears to let you move up and down. There is also a "handle" in the bottom edge or the bottom right corner that will let you stretch the box to a larger size if you'd like to be able to see more of your text at one time.
