Writing and Posting Your Lessons
If you want to, you can simply type directly into the text area on the lesson page, then click the Save button to post your assignment to the Bulletin Board.
You can also use your preferred text editor to compose with, then copy and paste the text into the Assigment page. There are several advantages to using the copy-and-paste method:
- Radical Writing is all about the free flow of words and ideas, so you should use the tools that are most comfortable and automatic for you. This might even mean writing by hand and then going back to type what you have written afterward. Do what works best for you.
- Using your own text editor gives you a copy of your work that you can save and review later. Since all current assignments are deleted from the website at the end of each month, you will not be able to go back and view them online at a later date. (We are considering longer term storage as a possible future enhancement of the site.)
- If your Internet connection should happen to go down while you are composing directly in the text box, then you might lose what you have written. So again, having your own copy first is better.
